- Jagatjit Industries Limited manufactures and markets Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), country liquor, industrial alcohol including extra neutral alcohol and grain-based ethanol, malted milk food, malt extract, dairy products such as milk powder, dairy whitener, baby food and clarified butter, as well as glass containers; it trades in petroleum products, licenses IMFL brands and rents properties through its Beverages, Food and Others segments. Founded in 1944 and headquartered in New Delhi, India, the company operates manufacturing facilities in Jagatjit Nagar and Hamira in Punjab's Kapurthala district, Behror in Rajasthan, with bottling collaborations across India and exports of semi-deluxe and below IMFL categories to Africa and the Middle East. Its premium brands include whiskies such as Aristocrat Premium, Aristocrat, Royal Medallion, AC Black, Royal Pride and Damn Good Scotch; vodka under IICE; gin as Aristocrat Dry Gin; and rum, brandy and scotch like King Henry VIII. In July 2025, it commenced commercial production at a new grain-based ethanol plant in Hamira, Punjab, with a 200 kilolitre daily capacity projected to produce 65-70 million litres annually, generate up to Rs 550 crore in revenue and boost EBITDA margins by 8-10 percentage points to support India's biofuel blending goals. In October 2025, the company executed an agreement to sell a 16,200 square metre non-core property in Gurugram, Haryana, for Rs 215 crore to Innovative Techno Park Private Limited, with completion expected by January 2026 to reduce borrowings and enhance financial stability.
