Incorporated in 1996 and headquartered in Gurugram, India, JBM Auto serves the automotive industry with a focus on commercial and passenger vehicles, electric mobility solutions, and e-bus ecosystems including aggregates and charging infrastructure primarily targeting public transport operators and OEMs across India, UAE, and select global markets. Recent developments include the establishment of an ultra-modern electric bus manufacturing facility in Delhi-NCR in 2024; launches of Global LHD City bus, ultra-luxury LHD Coach at international exhibitions like Bus World Brussels and MENA Transport Dubai, 12m Intercity Bus at Bharat Mobility Show New Delhi, electric luxury sleeper coach JBM Galaxy, and ECOLIFE as India's first fully electric indigenously manufactured bus in FY2025; battery manufacturing capacity expansion to 6 GWh through technological self-reliance in FY25; acquisition of additional 37% stake in subsidiary VT Emobility Private Limited raising ownership to 99% and 0.49% in Ecolife Green One Mobility Private Limited making it wholly owned in 2024; 25% enhancement of annual tooling capacity to 1,250 dies in 2024; partnership with UAE's Al Habtoor Motors in September 2025 for exclusive import and distribution of next-generation electric buses supporting UAE's Net Zero by 2050 initiative; and $100 million investment from International Finance Corporation into subsidiary JBM ECOLIFE Mobility in 2025 to deploy 1,455 air-conditioned electric buses in Maharashtra, Assam, and Gujarat.
