Janus Henderson Global Allocation Fund - Conservative - I Shares (JCAIX) is an open-end mutual fund managed by Janus Henderson Investors that seeks total return through a primary emphasis on income and a secondary emphasis on growth of capital. The fund achieves its objective as a fund of funds by investing in a diversified portfolio of other Janus Henderson mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) spanning equities, fixed income, and alternatives; targeting 30% to 50% equities including U.S. and non-U.S. stocks, 50% to 65% fixed income such as U.S. bonds, non-U.S. bonds, flexible bond strategies, developed world bonds, and emerging markets debt; and 0% to 20% alternatives, with top holdings including iShares Core International Aggregate Bond ETF, Janus Henderson Flexible Bond Fund Class N, Janus Henderson Developed World Bond Fund Class N, Janus Henderson Emerging Markets Debt Hard Currency ETF, and Janus Henderson Overseas Fund Class N. Launched on July 6, 2009, and domiciled in the United States with total net assets of approximately $138 million, the fund is available to U.S. investors with a minimum initial investment of $2,500 and a net expense ratio of 0.73%. It operates within the Global Moderately Conservative Allocation category, providing actively managed global diversification across large-cap blend equities, mid-credit quality bonds with moderate interest-rate sensitivity, and regions including the United States, Eurozone, emerging Asia, developed Asia, and the United Kingdom. Janus Henderson Investors, the fund's manager, is a global asset manager headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with additional key offices in London, formed in 2017 through the merger of Janus Capital Group (founded 1969) and Henderson Group (roots in 1934). In recent developments, Janus Henderson acquired a majority stake in Victory Park Capital, a U.S.-based global private credit manager, in October 2024 to bolster its private markets and securitized credit capabilities. The firm also entered a strategic partnership with Guardian in April 2025, under which it manages Guardian's $45 billion investment-grade public fixed income portfolio, including corporates and securitized credit, while receiving up to $400 million in seed capital for fixed income product innovation. These moves enhance Janus Henderson's institutional offerings and align with its expansion in fixed income and alternatives, supporting funds like JCAIX through broader expertise across asset classes and geographies. Portfolio management for JCAIX features Ashwin Alankar since September 2014 and Nicholas Harper since June 2024.
