Business
Janus Detroit Street Trust – Janus Henderson Equity Linked Moderate Income ETF is a U.S.-domiciled, actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks high current income by investing primarily in equity securities and equity-linked instruments. Trading on Cboe BZX Exchange under the ticker JELM, the Fund is managed by Janus Henderson Investors US LLC and is designed for financial advisers, institutional investors and other investors seeking a professionally managed, moderate-income structured-equity allocation. The Fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities and equity-linked securities; its investment portfolio includes autocallable notes, stability equity-linked notes, swaps replicating equity-linked-note payouts, and related structured instruments referencing individual stocks, broad-based indexes and index baskets. It seeks to generate income by harvesting equity-market volatility while pursuing downside awareness through predefined coupon and protection barriers, diversified exposure across underlying equities, banking counterparties and maturities, and a target portfolio of approximately 20 to 50 holdings. JELM provides a lower-equity-sensitivity and moderate-income alternative within Janus Henderson’s structured-income ETF offering, with a stated autocallable coupon-payment target of average 90-day SOFR plus 3% to 5%; the Fund uses derivatives and over-the-counter structured contracts and may invest across companies, sectors, market capitalizations and investment styles. Janus Detroit Street Trust is headquartered at 151 Detroit Street, Denver, Colorado, United States. The Fund was formed and commenced operations on April 21, 2026. Its principal recent development is its April 2026 launch by Janus Henderson Investors alongside the Janus Henderson Equity Linked High Income ETF, or JELH, expanding the manager’s active ETF range with two diversified, transparent equity-linked-income strategies that combine autocallables, stability equity-linked notes and swaps in ETF vehicles.
