Business
Jaguar Global Growth Corporation I (JGGCW) operates as a blank check company whose primary business is to effect a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination with one or more businesses or assets. The company focuses its search on property technology (PropTech) businesses outside the United States with enterprise values of $500 million or more; it has not commenced substantive operations, generated revenues, or selected any specific target prior to its de-SPAC transaction. Incorporated in 2021 and headquartered in Miami, Florida, at 601 Brickell Key Drive Suite 700, Jaguar Global Growth Corporation I went public in February 2022 raising $230 million in an IPO underwritten by Citi and Barclays. In March 2023, it announced a definitive business combination with South Korea-based GLAAM Co., Ltd., a designer and manufacturer of architectural media glass that integrates displays into building exteriors for media and marketing applications, valued at a pro forma enterprise value of $309 million with no minimum cash condition or PIPE financing. The transaction received Jaguar Global shareholder approval on September 27, 2023, with over 79% of votes in favor despite 99.6% redemptions leaving approximately $1.04 million in trust, and closed on November 15, 2023, resulting in the combined entity Captivision Inc. (Nasdaq: CAPT, CAPTW), which manufactures smart glass products including G-Glass with production capacity of 1.4 million square feet annually across facilities in Korea and China targeting global construction and media markets. JGGCW warrants were delisted following the de-SPAC, marking the cessation of Jaguar Global Growth Corporation I as a standalone public entity.
