Business
AllianzIM International Equity Buffer15 Uncapped Jul ETF is an actively managed, non-diversified defined-outcome exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide exposure to developed international equity markets while mitigating specified downside risk. The fund seeks, at the end of each approximately one-year July outcome period, to deliver returns linked to the share-price performance of the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF, which provides exposure to large- and mid-capitalization companies in developed markets outside the United States and Canada; it aims to buffer the first 15% of underlying ETF losses, before fees and expenses, and to provide uncapped upside participation in positive market environments once underlying returns exceed a predetermined spread. The fund principally uses options and other instruments designed to create economic characteristics similar to equity securities, and under normal conditions invests at least 80% of net assets in such instruments. Its target customers include investors and financial advisers seeking international developed-market equity exposure with a defined level of downside protection and growth potential beyond the applicable spread. Allianz Investment Management LLC serves as investment adviser; it is a subsidiary of Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, and the fund is issued through AIM ETF Products Trust. JULI commenced trading on Cboe BZX Exchange on July 1, 2026, representing AllianzIM’s expansion of its Uncapped Buffered ETF suite and international buffered-ETF lineup. The launch added a July-outcome international-equity strategy to AllianzIM’s defined-outcome offerings, pairing EAFE-market exposure through the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF with a 15% downside buffer and unlimited upside potential above the spread over the July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 outcome period.
