Business
Kanoria Energy & Infrastructure Ltd (KEIL.BO) operates as an integrated energy and infrastructure company focused on power generation, transmission, and related engineering services. The company offers thermal and renewable power plants, including coal-based and gas-fired power generation facilities; high-voltage transmission lines and substations; engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for power infrastructure; operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts for power assets; and development of wind and solar energy projects. It serves utilities, industrial clients, and government entities across India, with primary operations in the states of Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh; founded in 1991 and headquartered in New Delhi, India. In recent developments, the company expanded its renewable energy portfolio through a strategic partnership with a leading solar module manufacturer in early 2025, enabling the launch of two 100 MW solar projects in Rajasthan. It also secured a INR 500 crore funding round from institutional investors in Q3 2025 to support EPC contracts for transmission infrastructure in eastern India. Additionally, Kanoria Energy & Infrastructure acquired a 51% stake in a distressed wind farm operator in Maharashtra during mid-2024, marking its entry into wind power asset ownership and operational turnaround services. These moves reflect a shift toward sustainable energy segments amid India's green transition goals.
