Business
Kingspan Group plc manufactures advanced insulation and building envelope solutions for the global construction industry. The company offers insulated panels for walls, roofs and coldrooms; rigid insulation boards and systems including PIR, phenolic, mineral wool, EPS and bio-based products; light, air and ventilation solutions such as smoke vents, natural daylighting and fire ventilation systems; water and energy management products including rainwater harvesting, wastewater treatment and flood prevention; data centre and access flooring systems; and roofing and waterproofing membranes and coatings. Kingspan operates over 270 manufacturing sites across more than 80 countries, serving commercial, industrial and residential markets with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. Founded in 1965 and headquartered in Kingscourt, Ireland, the company recently completed the acquisition of Mercor's natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation business in October 2025; announced a $61.2 million investment by its Tate subsidiary for a new data centre manufacturing plant in Glasgow, Kentucky in October 2025; acquired a 51% stake in Steico SE for €250 million in January 2024; and expanded through purchases of Troldtekt, HempFlax, IB Roof Systems, Villalba and others in 2023-2024 to bolster bio-based insulation, roofing and Latin American presence.
