Business
The Kraft Heinz Company (KHC; KHNZ.DE) manufactures and markets a broad portfolio of food and beverage products worldwide, including condiments such as Heinz Ketchup, Grey Poupon mustard and Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce; dairy products including Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Kraft Singles and Velveeta; processed meats and snacks like Oscar Mayer, Lunchables and P3; sauces, spreads and seasonings encompassing Classico pasta sauces, A.1. Steak Sauce and Primal Kitchen; macaroni and cheese under Kraft Mac & Cheese; pickles via Claussen; mayonnaise and dressings with Miracle Whip; beverages including Capri-Sun and Kool-Aid; desserts such as Jell-O; and frozen products like Ore-Ida potatoes, Bagel Bites and Boca Burger plant-based patties; as well as additional brands including Maxwell House coffee, Cheez Whiz and international offerings like Wattie's in Australia/New Zealand and Pudliszki in Poland. The company, formed by the 2015 merger of Kraft Foods Group and H.J. Heinz, maintains dual headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; operates in over 40 countries across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and emerging markets in the Middle East and Africa; and targets consumers in grocery retail, foodservice and convenience channels with eight brands generating over $1 billion in annual sales each. In September 2025, Kraft Heinz announced plans to separate into two independent public companies by the second half of 2026, with Global Taste Elevation Co. focusing on high-growth condiments, sauces, spreads and seasonings including Heinz, Philadelphia and Kraft Mac & Cheese, and North American Grocery Co. encompassing staples such as Oscar Mayer, Kraft Singles, Velveeta and Lunchables; this strategic split follows portfolio optimization moves including the July 2025 divestiture of Italian infant and specialty food brands Plasmon, Nipiol, Dieterba, Aproten and Biaglut to NewPrinces along with a production facility, and a June 2025 commitment to eliminate artificial colors from all U.S. products by 2027 while using only natural colors in new items; recent partnerships feature an August 2025 collaboration with Smoothie King for a limited-edition Heinz Ketchup Smoothie and a multi-year deal with Live Nation designating Heinz as official condiment and macaroni and cheese sponsor at 80 venues starting with Lollapalooza 2025, alongside an expanded IHOP partnership for branded coffee and pancake syrups in grocery stores.
