Business
Kootenay Resources Inc. is a Canada-based exploration-stage mining company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties primarily in British Columbia targeting silver, gold, copper, lead, and zinc deposits. Its principal projects include the flagship Moyie Anticline Project encompassing 26,536 hectares east of Creston for Sullivan-type SEDEX deposits; Fox Silver-Gold Project covering 3,636 hectares southwest of Fraser Lake; Coconut Silver-Gold Project adjacent to Fox with epithermal-style mineralization; Mystery Silver-Gold-Copper Project spanning 12,193 hectares in the Shelford Hills; as well as Two Times Fred, Copley, Meachen Bend, Walter the Water Buffalo, and additional properties in the Nechako plateau and Belt-Purcell Basin. The company, founded in 2006 and headquartered at Suite 1125, 595 Howe Street in Vancouver, operates generative programs seeking Tier One discoveries and welcomes partnerships. Recently, Kootenay Resources closed a CAD 200,000 private placement in October 2025 to support exploration; advanced geophysical surveys including airborne ZTEM at Moyie Anticline and data reviews at Copley identifying drill targets; announced drill targets at the Sweet Spot on Moyie Anticline in March 2025 to pursue Tier One deposits; entered a strategic agreement with Rokmaster Resources Corp. in June 2024 for project options; and options three projects to Rokmaster alongside one to Centerra Gold (KB) Inc., while providing Moyie project updates in June 2025 highlighting infrastructure advantages and over CAD 1.7 million in historical work.
