Business
Lion One Metals Limited is a Canadian gold producer engaged in the exploration, development, production, and evaluation of mineral resources primarily in Fiji; it owns and operates the 100%-owned, high-grade, fully permitted Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project on Viti Levu island, encompassing the Tuvatu gold deposit, underground gold mine, processing plant including a 300 tonnes per day pilot plant expanding toward 500-700 tonnes per day with flotation and regrinding capabilities, on-site assay laboratory, and extensive land package of approximately 20,170 hectares across four special prospecting licenses with multiple high-grade gold and copper exploration targets in the Navilawa Caldera region known for Tier 1 deposits. The company targets high-grade gold production with a fleet of eight diamond drill rigs for resource infill, grade control, and regional exploration drilling; underground mining operations featuring shrinkage stoping, resue development, and equipment including two-boom jumbos, scissor lifts, and utility vehicles modified for bolting; and metallurgical processing focused on achieving steady-state production ramp-up. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Lion One Metals maintains operations through its wholly-owned subsidiary Lion One Limited (Fiji) and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under LIO and OTCQX under LOMLF. In September 2025, the company closed an upsized LIFE private placement for gross proceeds of $18.7 million to fund Tuvatu development, underground mobile equipment purchases, flotation plant completion targeted for Q1 2026, loan repayment to Nebari, and working capital; recent operational advances include production of 5,704 tonnes at 10.60 g/t gold from its first shrinkage stope in October 2025, a 70% increase in underground development rates supported by a third two-boom jumbo and dedicated bolting equipment, ongoing high-grade drill intercepts such as 728.56 g/t gold over 0.7 meters in November 2025 and 78.71 g/t over 2.0 meters in October 2025, mine ventilation raise bore project completion in January 2025, and intensified roscoelite exploration efforts.
