Incorporated in 1983 and headquartered in Hyderabad, India, Lokesh Machines operates facilities in Hyderabad and Pune, serving the automobile, power generation, general engineering, aerospace, defence and railway sectors, with exports to Japan, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Turkey, Russia and other markets. Recent developments include the launch of India's first indigenous laser-based direct energy deposition hybrid additive manufacturing machine for metals in collaboration with AIC IT-HUB and RRCAT University; entry into the defence sector via a INR 100 crore greenfield manufacturing facility in Medchal inaugurated in late 2023 for defence and aerospace components; securing a Rs 7.97 crore order in November 2025; appointment of Kolkappadam Vadavatah Sanil Babu as additional non-executive independent director effective November 11, 2025; and preferential allotment of shares in February 2024 that significantly altered the shareholding pattern.
