Pacer Salt Low truBeta US Market ETF (LSLT) is an exchange-traded fund that provides exposure to US large- and mid-cap equities exhibiting low sensitivity to S&P 500 market movements through a proprietary truBeta methodology; the fund tracks the Salt Low truBeta US Market Index, which selects and equally weights approximately 100 stocks from the Solactive US Large- and Mid-Cap Index based on low forecasted beta below 1.0 and reduced variability in historical betas, aiming for lower volatility and improved risk-adjusted returns. Originally launched by Salt Financial LLC in March 2019, the ETF was acquired by Pacer Advisors, Inc. in late 2020, rebranded under the Pacer name while retaining its ticker, and integrated into Pacer ETFs' Custom ETF Series alongside the complementary Pacer Salt High truBeta US Market ETF (SLT). Pacer Advisors, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania and founded in 2005, serves as investment adviser with over $45 billion in assets under management across its suite of rules-based ETFs focused on factors like free cash flow, trend following, and low-beta strategies. Although announced for closure and liquidation in January 2022 due to low assets, recent trading data as of late 2025 indicates the ETF remains active on platforms with a market capitalization around $4.6 million and share prices near $30.63. The fund targets institutional and retail investors seeking defensive US equity exposure; it operates exclusively in the United States market with quarterly rebalancing and an expense ratio of 0.60%. No major partnerships, funding rounds, acquisitions, or new product launches specific to LSLT have been reported in the last 1-2 years, amid Pacer's broader expansions in its Cash Cows and other ETF series.
