M & B Engineering Ltd M & B Engineering Limited (MBEL.BO) provides design-led engineering solutions for pre-engineered buildings, self-supported steel roofing systems, and structural steel components primarily in India and select international markets including the United States. The company operates through two divisions, Phenix and Proflex; Phenix delivers turnkey pre-engineered buildings, complex structural steel components, and stainless steel bridge girders, while Proflex offers self-supported steel roofing, cantilever roofing for parking solutions, A-shaped steel buildings, side wall and gable wall cladding, ventilators, skylights, HVLS fans, and solar panel integration. Founded in 1981 as a subsidiary of the Manibhai & Brothers Group—which traces its origins to 1951—and headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, M & B Engineering Ltd maintains manufacturing facilities in Sanand, Gujarat, and Cheyyar, Tamil Nadu, with a fleet of 14 mobile manufacturing units enabling nationwide project execution across industries such as aviation, automobiles, textiles, power, engineering, sugar mills, coal, cement, appliances, and consumer goods. The company holds AISC certification as one of India's few facilities meeting American Institute of Steel Construction standards and has completed over 9,500 projects. Recent developments include the operationalization of its second Phenix PEB plant near Chennai in March 2024 with 30,000 MTPA capacity, securing a Rs 212 crore export order to the US in October 2025, a domestic Rs 98 crore project announced shortly before, robust revenue growth of 49% year-over-year in Q2 FY2026 driven by both divisions, an unexecuted order book of Rs 931 crore as of October 2025, orders for three additional mobile manufacturing units in Proflex, and progression on a brownfield PEB expansion at Sanand adding 20,000 TPA capacity targeted for Q1 FY2027 commissioning.
