Business
Samolet Group Public Joint Stock Company operates as a real estate developer primarily engaged in the construction and sale of residential and commercial properties in Russia. Its core products and services include the development and construction of mass-market housing; residential complexes; commercial real estate projects; land acquisition and management, particularly in Moscow and the Moscow region; and integrated real estate services such as sales, marketing, and property management. The company also operates digital platforms, including Russia's largest multi-listing system (MLS) through its real estate service arm Samolet Plus, which covers property search, purchase, sale, rental, interior design, renovation, and furnishing. Samolet Group focuses on affordable housing, with significant projects in Moscow and regional Russian markets, targeting individual homebuyers and real estate investors. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Moscow, it is one of Russia’s largest developers by construction volume and land bank size. Recent major changes include the acquisition of MIC Group, comprising more than 50 companies and a substantial land bank with several projects under construction and design in Moscow and the surrounding region. This deal was financed by bank loans and approved by relevant regulatory bodies in 2023. The group also completed the acquisition of Sistema Bank in early 2024, expanding its financial services capabilities. Additionally, it purchased the Megapolis Service real estate agency and acquired a stake in the new building aggregator Dombook in 2023 to broaden its market reach. Samolet restructured its top management in late 2024, appointing Anna Akinshina as CEO and promoting several internal candidates to key executive roles. The company launched its vast MLS platform Samolet Plus, aiming to rival leading classified platforms, and has raised substantial funding for its expansion. In 2024, Samolet projected sales of about 1.3 million square meters and planned to launch over 20 new projects across Russia while strengthening its presence in Moscow. The group continues to invest heavily in IT and digital product offerings to support its innovative ecosystem approach around residential developments.
