Incorporated in 1985 and headquartered in Gurugram, India, the company operates manufacturing facilities in Waghodia (Gujarat), Bawal, Dharuhera (Haryana), and Haridwar, serving major original equipment manufacturers including Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, and Royal Enfield, primarily in the Indian market with international exports. A subsidiary of Thakurdevi Investments Private Limited and part of the Hero Group, it maintains technical collaborations with Lafranconi Italy SPA for exhaust systems and Samsung Industries Limited (South Korea) for fuel tanks. In recent developments, Munjal Auto entered a deed of assignment on April 29, 2024, to purchase leasehold land measuring 25,469 square meters at GIDC Industrial Estate, Waghodia, for capacity expansion; it previously acquired a majority stake in Indutch Composites Technology in 2018 to bolster its composites business for wind energy and reported consolidated net profit of 112 million rupees for the September 2025 quarter amid revenue growth from operations reaching 5.84 billion rupees.
