SPDR SSGA My2035 Corporate Bond ETF (MYCO) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks to maximize current income while preserving capital by investing primarily in investment-grade, USD-denominated corporate bonds with effective maturities targeted around 2035. The fund employs a risk-aware top-down approach combined with bottom-up security selection, focusing on corporate bonds maturing in 2035—including those with embedded issuer call options exercisable in that year—while allowing up to 20% in bonds maturing six months prior or after the target year and up to 10% in below-investment-grade corporate bonds; its portfolio typically comprises around 90-91 holdings, with top positions in issuers such as JBS USA Holdings, RTX Corp., Pacific Gas and Electric Company, AEP Transmission Company, Charter Communications Operating, Georgia Power Company, IBM, AT&T, FirstEnergy Transmission, and Exelon Corp., representing approximately 21% of assets. It is non-diversified, listed on NASDAQ, and part of the SPDR SSGA MyIncome suite of target-maturity bond ETFs designed for investors building custom bond ladders. Launched on September 16, 2025, by State Street Investment Management (SSGA), a division of State Street Global Advisors headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, MYCO expands the MyIncome ETF suite that debuted in 2024 as one of the first actively managed corporate target-maturity bond ETFs in the U.S. market. The fund's introduction alongside the SPDR SSGA My2031 Municipal Bond ETF (MYMK) marks a key strategic expansion, providing new fixed-income solutions with an expense ratio of 0.15%, monthly dividend distributions (yielding around 4.74% annualized), and a planned liquidation on or about December 15, 2035, to return principal. As of late 2025, assets under management stand at approximately $5 million, with shares outstanding around 200,000 and a NAV near $24.80-$24.90. MYCO targets income-oriented investors, such as those seeking predictable cash flows from a held-to-maturity strategy in the investment-grade corporate bond segment of the U.S. fixed-income market. Geographically, it focuses on U.S. dollar-denominated securities from primarily American issuers across sectors like utilities, telecommunications, and industrials, with no significant international exposure noted. The fund operates under SSGA Active Trust, with no reported subsidiaries or parent entities beyond State Street's oversight.
