In recent operational and strategic developments, AmFIRST REIT has undertaken targeted portfolio rationalization and capital management programs, including the strategic disposal of non-core properties such as Menara AmFIRST to pare down bank borrowings, reduce gearing, and optimize capital structure. Additionally, the trust has accelerated asset enhancement initiatives (AEIs) across key properties, executing retail space reconfigurations at The Summit Subang USJ, installing solar photovoltaic systems, and retrofitting energy-efficient building infrastructure to bolster environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance, improve tenant retention, and strengthen long-term portfolio yields.
