In recent major corporate and operational developments, Hume Cement Industries Berhad undertook a strategic rationalization to sharpen its focus on core cement manufacturing by divesting its entire 100% equity interest in Hume Concrete Sdn Bhd to YTL Cement (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd for RM215 million, reallocating the proceeds toward core cement plant expansion, operational decarbonization, and working capital.
