In recent developments, sponsor WCT Holdings Berhad established Paradigm REIT and advanced its proposed initial public offering and listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as part of a corporate reorganization to unlock the value of its commercial property portfolio. Under this strategic transaction, Paradigm REIT entered into conditional sale and purchase agreements to acquire its three cornerstone retail assets—Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, and Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre—for an aggregate multi-billion-ringgit asset base, while establishing its capital structure, securing regulatory submissions with the Securities Commission Malaysia, and putting in place dedicated governance and REIT management operations.
