It also generates hydroelectric power from two mini-hydel projects with 15.75 MW total installed capacity at Pothireddypadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Tungabhadra, Karnataka. Founded in 1979 as Nagarjuna Cements Limited and renamed NCL Industries Limited in 1987, the company is headquartered in Secunderabad, Telangana. Recent developments include a joint venture partnership with NCL Buildtek Ltd and a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% ownership of Vishwamber Cements.
