- Basin Uranium Corp. is a Canadian junior exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of uranium properties in North America. The company holds interests in multiple advanced-stage uranium projects, including the Chord project in South Dakota with an NI 43-101 inferred mineral resource estimate of 2.75 million pounds U3O8 at 810 ppm; the Wolf Canyon project in South Dakota; the South Pass project and Great Divide Basin project in Wyoming; and the Wray Mesa project in Utah; as well as the Mann Lake uranium project in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin and the CHG gold project in British Columbia. Incorporated in 2017 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Basin Uranium operates principally in Canada and the United States, targeting in-situ recovery (ISR)-amenable deposits to support clean energy demand. In September 2025, the company completed a plan of arrangement with Nexus Uranium Corp., through which Nexus acquired Basin via share exchange, creating a combined entity with six uranium projects across North American jurisdictions; Basin also secured shareholder approval for the transaction in early September 2025 and recently advanced permitting efforts, including Bureau of Land Management approval for its South Pass exploration plan encompassing 51 drill holes and over 30,000 feet of drilling, alongside ongoing surveys and permit applications at Chord for resource expansion and ISR testing.
