In recent developments, North Eastern Carrying Corporation secured multiple contracts from Tata Steel Limited, including a Rs 356 crore order for transporting materials from Sukinda Mines in Odisha, a five-year agreement valued at around Rs 156 crore for iron ore transportation, and additional five-year contracts for steel products from Sahibabad and Khopoli facilities to destinations such as Kalamboli, Panvel, and Taloja using electric heavy vehicles, marking its entry into EV logistics with potential one-year extensions.
