Navios Maritime Holdings Inc., founded in 1954 and headquartered in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, maintains offices in Piraeus (Greece), New York City (USA), Montevideo (Uruguay), Antwerp (Belgium), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Asuncion (Paraguay), with primary operations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. The company holds a controlling equity stake in Navios South American Logistics Inc., a leading infrastructure provider in the Hidrovia region featuring port terminals and cabotage fleets, and a passive equity interest in Navios Maritime Partners L.P., a publicly listed dry cargo and tanker vessel operator. In April 2024, Navios South American Logistics inaugurated a new liquid bulk terminal at its Nueva Palmira, Uruguay free zone facility, adding 37,000 cubic meters of initial storage capacity for biofuels and vegetable oils with scalability to 140,000 cubic meters, a dedicated pier for tank barges and advanced emission control systems. On December 14, 2023, N Logistics Holdings Corp. completed the acquisition of Navios Maritime Holdings Inc.
