O.Y. Nofar Energy Ltd (NOFR.TA) develops, finances, constructs, operates and maintains renewable energy projects focused on solar photovoltaic systems, wind power generation and battery energy storage; core offerings encompass rooftop solar installations for commercial and industrial clients, ground-mounted solar parks, floating solar arrays on water reservoirs, and energy storage solutions integrated with renewable generation. The company operates across Israel, the United States, Poland, Romania, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Serbia and the Czech Republic, serving private consumers, real estate investment trusts, electricity distributors and grid operators such as the Israel Electric Corporation. Recent developments include Nofar USA securing over 1 GW of solar projects through acquisitions and exclusive development rights in key U.S. markets like PJM, SPP and ERCOT in September 2025; advanced negotiations announced in July 2025 for acquiring 67% of a U.S. renewable energy company for $91 million; and the August 2024 acquisition of Aviv Renewable Investment, advancing a 160 MW photovoltaic park in Romania. The company pursues geographic diversification and business expansion through strategic partnerships with REITs for rooftop solar, international project financing and development of utility-scale initiatives including the UK’s Cellarhead battery storage project and Spain’s Sabinar portfolio.
