The company markets its color solutions under the Unilex brand to various industrial end markets, such as textiles, printing inks, plastics and masterbatches, paints and industrial coatings, paper, rubber, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage processing. In addition to its domestic presence across India, the company maintains extensive international operations, exporting products to over 40 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. In recent strategic developments, the company converted to a public limited company and completed its Initial Public Offering on the Emerge platform of the National Stock Exchange of India in 2024 under the ticker UNILEX. Proceeds from the offering have been deployed toward expanding manufacturing capacities and upgrading technical infrastructure at its Tarapur facilities, meeting enhanced working capital requirements, retiring outstanding debt, and expanding its international client base and value-added pigment dispersion offerings.
