The company's core product and service portfolio includes: upstream exploration, development, and commercial extraction of crude oil and associated natural gas from onshore fields including Ogbele, Omerelu, Olo, and Olo West; midstream natural gas gathering, processing, compression, and pipeline distribution for delivery to domestic industrial consumers and the Nigeria LNG export facility; modular petroleum refining operations utilizing an 11,000 barrels-per-day multi-train refining installation at the Ogbele field; production and wholesale distribution of refined petroleum products, consisting of Automotive Gas Oil for road transport and industrial power generation, Dual Purpose Kerosene for household and commercial utility, Marine Diesel Oil for marine transportation, High-Pour Fuel Oil for heavy industrial heating, and Naphtha for industrial blending and petrochemical processing; and oilfield operations management, hydrocarbon evacuation services, and energy infrastructure asset administration. Aradel markets its output to power utilities, industrial manufacturers, downstream fuel distributors, maritime fleet operators, and international commodity off-takers.
In recent corporate and operational developments, the company executed a strategic corporate reorganization and rebranded from Niger Delta Exploration & Production Plc to Aradel Holdings Plc. In October 2024, the company listed its shares by introduction on the Nigerian Exchange under the ticker ARADEL. Aradel further expanded its upstream footprint as a core member of the Renaissance Africa Energy Company consortium, which finalized the landmark acquisition of the entire 100 percent equity interest in The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited. In addition, the company achieved first oil production at the Omerelu field, expanded the operational capacity of its multi-train modular refinery, enlarged its equity ownership in ND Western Limited, and accelerated gas commercialization initiatives to eliminate routine flaring across its operational acreage.
