In recent corporate developments, the company executed a strategic reorganization by transitioning from Chams Plc into a non-operating holding company structure under the name Chams Holding Company Plc to comply with Central Bank of Nigeria regulatory frameworks and advance its Consumer-Africa-Digital expansion strategy. In 2026, the group formally established and launched ChamsCorp Plc, a dedicated subsidiary focused on digital device manufacturing, telecommunications infrastructure, enterprise data center design and operations, and artificial intelligence infrastructure. To fund business expansion and capitalize its operating subsidiaries, the company executed capital-raising exercises through rights issues and private placements, raising over 7.5 billion Nigerian naira. In transaction processing and payment infrastructure, subsidiary ChamsSwitch forged strategic partnerships with UnionPay and commercial institutions including Wema Bank to expand cross-border acquiring and switching capabilities, while Card Centre entered into a manufacturing joint venture with Beijing Huahong IC Design Co., Ltd. for local SIM card fabrication. In board governance, Segun Oloketuyi was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors following the retirement of founding chairman Sir Demola Aladekomo.
