In recent developments, OCI completed the sale of its Clean Ammonia project in Beaumont, Texas, to Woodside Energy Group Ltd in September 2024 for approximately USD 2.35 billion, while retaining involvement in construction through project completion expected in H2 2025. It announced the divestment of its global methanol business to Methanex Corporation in September 2024, with board approvals and European Commission clearance in May 2025, targeting closure in Q2 2025. Additionally, in November 2025, OCI agreed to sell its OCI Ammonia Holding B.V.—encompassing the Rotterdam ammonia import terminal and distribution platform—to AGROFERT for EUR 290 million (USD 335 million), expected to close in H1 2026 subject to approvals; it advanced a partnership with OCI Nitrogen, Dossche Mills, and AGRAVIS in February 2025 to scale sustainable wheat production using low-carbon fertilizers, achieving a tenfold increase in 2024.
