Par Drugs and Chemicals Limited Par Drugs and Chemicals Limited (PAR.NS) manufactures and exports active pharmaceutical ingredients and fine chemicals primarily for antacid and gastrointestinal applications from its facilities in Bhavnagar and Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India. Incorporated in 1999 and headquartered at 816 Nilamber Triumph, Gotri-Vasna Road, Vadodara, the company produces a diversified portfolio comprising 15 APIs including Magnesium Hydroxide, Sucralfate, Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel, Magaldrate, Magnesium Trisilicate, Almagate BP, Light Magnesium Carbonate, Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Aluminium Magnesium Silicate, Magnesium Aluminometasilicate, Magnesium Aluminosilicate-USP, Magnesium Oxide Light and Heavy, Magnesium Aluminium Hydrate, Hydrotalcite, and Synthetic Aluminium Silicate; and 10 fine chemicals such as Precipitated Silica, Sodium Aluminium Silicate, Amorphous Aluminium Hydroxide, PARSIL-HT, PAR ADD OP, MagSil OF, FlowSil, Aluminium Hydroxide Magnesium Carbonate Co-Dried Gel, and Magnesium Aluminium Silicate-Hydrated for pharma and agro uses, with an annual capacity of 9,700 metric tons across four dedicated manufacturing blocks. As India's largest producer of Magnesium Hydroxide, Sucralfate, and Magnesium Trisilicate, it serves over 250 customers including Pfizer Ltd., Cipla Ltd., and United Phosphorus Ltd. through a network of more than 40 dealers and 13 agents, exporting to approximately 20 countries such as Germany, UK, UAE, Japan, South Korea, China, Bangladesh, Iran, Indonesia, and Nigeria. Recent developments include strategic expansion into high-potential markets like Japan, South Korea, and China to diversify revenue and mitigate regional risks; ongoing greenfield capacity enhancements; integration of automation and PLC technologies for operational efficiency; increased solar power capacity and freshwater reduction initiatives for sustainability; and robust FY24 financials with revenue of ₹9,588 lakhs, PBT up to ₹1,952 lakhs, PAT at ₹1,450 lakhs, and total equity rising to ₹8,563 lakhs, positioning the debt-free company for sustained growth.
