The fund employs a concentrated portfolio strategy of 25-40 holdings, emphasizing sustainable earnings growth, low portfolio turnover, long-term holding periods, robust balance sheets, proven management teams, and clear alignment of interests between majority and minority shareholders; it targets competitively advantaged businesses with durable earnings profiles driven by sustainable competitive advantages, financial strength, sound ESG practices, and powerful products or services. Launched under Litman Gregory Funds Trust on March 14, 2024, PCCE is domiciled in the United States, with iM Global Partner Fund Management LLC serving as the investment advisor and Polen Capital as the subadvisor; portfolio managers include June Lui, CFA, Kevin Chee, CFA, and Yingying Dong, CFA. Fund services are provided by State Street Bank, and distribution is handled by ALPS Distributors, Inc. Polen Capital, headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, with additional offices in Boston, London, and Hong Kong, acquired the underlying China Growth strategy from Columbia Threadneedle in 2023, building on its management of similar strategies since 2007.
In a recent strategic expansion, iM Global Partner and Polen Capital unveiled PCCE alongside the Polen Capital International Growth ETF (PCIG) in March 2024, listing both on the NYSE to broaden access to active ETF strategies amid client demand; this followed Polen Capital's inaugural ETF, Polen Capital Global Growth (PCGG), launched in 2023. Polen Capital further grew its active ETF lineup in March 2025 with the launch of two credit-focused ETFs, Polen Capital Focused Income ETF (PCFI) and Polen Capital High Income ETF (PCHI), complementing PCCE within a suite that also includes Polen Capital Emerging Markets ex-China Growth ETF (PCEM). These developments reflect Polen Capital's ongoing commitment to diversifying its offerings for institutional, financial advisor, and individual investors seeking high-conviction, quality-driven strategies across equity and credit segments.
