The fund targets opportunities across the entire environmental value chain, including efficient supply chains, smart grids, digital enablers, pollution control, resource management, and climate adaptation solutions, beyond just renewable energy; it employs a high-conviction thematic investment approach pioneered by Pictet Asset Management since 1995. PCLN serves institutional and retail investors focused on environmental megatrends such as urbanization, resource scarcity, and climate change, with holdings diversified across global markets and an expense ratio of 0.70%. Launched on October 15, 2025, as part of Pictet Asset Management's inaugural U.S.-listed ETFs, PCLN represents a major strategic expansion by the Geneva-headquartered firm--a segment of the Pictet Group founded in 1805--to bring its thematic strategies to U.S. financial advisors and investors. This launch occurred alongside two other active ETFs, Pictet AI Enhanced International Equity ETF (PQNT) and Pictet AI & Automation ETF (PBOT), marking Pictet's entry into the U.S. ETF market with AI-enhanced quantitative and thematic products backed by over $266 billion in assets under management as of mid-2025. Pictet Asset Management, governed by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority and operating 18 global business development centers including New York, oversees the fund, which is distributed by Foreside Fund Services, LLC.
