Business
Invesco 1-30 Laddered Treasury ETF (PLW) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance of the ICE 1-30 Year Laddered Maturity US Treasury Index, which provides equal-weighted exposure to up to 30 U.S. Treasury securities across a laddered maturity structure from 1 to 30 years; the fund holds approximately 29 investment-grade sovereign bonds, primarily U.S. Treasuries representing 99.73% of assets, with a net expense ratio of 0.25%, a dividend yield of approximately 2.53%, and assets under management of around $630-650 million. PLW offers investors diversified fixed income exposure within the government bonds segment, focusing on broad maturities and equal weighting strategy to mitigate interest rate risk through periodic laddering; it distributes ordinary income without K-1 forms and trades on the NASDAQ exchange. Invesco Ltd., the issuer, manages the fund as part of its extensive lineup of ETFs and fixed income products, including actively managed funds, alternative investments, and real estate strategies; founded in 1935 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with operations in over 20 countries, Invesco serves institutional investors, financial advisors, high-net-worth individuals, and retail clients globally across equities, fixed income, private markets, and multi-asset solutions. In recent developments, Invesco announced a strategic partnership with LGT Capital Partners in December 2025 to develop multi-alternative private markets solutions targeting U.S. wealth and retirement investors, leveraging Invesco's $190 billion in alternatives AUM; earlier in April 2025, Invesco repurchased $1 billion of its preferred stock from MassMutual and formed a new product and distribution alliance with Barings to enhance income solutions for the U.S. wealth segment, strengthening its balance sheet and enabling continued share repurchases and dividend growth. The firm also advanced real estate initiatives, including a joint venture with Bozzuto in August 2025 acquiring multifamily properties like Ashton at Dulles Corner as part of a $1 billion program, and partnerships with Amro for Iberian purpose-built student accommodation expansions and Fokus Nordic for Finnish residential investments. Invesco reported record AUM surpassing $2.1 trillion by Q3 2025, driven by $17.6 billion in Q1 inflows and 5.3% organic growth, alongside ongoing ETF enhancements such as index updates and fee reductions implemented in 2023 that continue to support products like PLW.
