Österreichische Post owns 80% of bank99, a credit institution launched in 2020 that provides checking accounts, financial transactions, credit cards and personal services via 1,800 service points to reach 99% of the population. In recent developments, Österreichische Post agrees to acquire a 70% stake in Bulgarian e-commerce service provider euShipments.com for around €55 million to strengthen its presence in Southeast and Eastern Europe, aligning with its LEAD 2030 strategy. The company expands its postal network through a cooperation with Tyrolean food retailer MPREIS launched in April 2025 and introduces innovations such as the world's first 3D-printed postage stamp in October 2025.
