Business
Invesco FTSE RAFI US 1000 ETF (PRF) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance of the RAFI Fundamental Select US 1000 Index by normally investing at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks comprising the index; the index selects the 1,000 largest U.S. equities from the NYSE and NASDAQ based on four fundamental measures of firm size—book value, cash flow, sales, and dividends—with constituent weightings determined by their fundamental scores; the fund reconstitutes and rebalances annually. Launched on December 19, 2005, and listed on NYSE Arca, PRF targets large-cap blend U.S. equities across sectors including financials (18.91%), information technology (17.34%), health care (11.64%), and others, with top holdings such as Apple Inc. (3.87%), Alphabet Inc. Class A (3.58%), and Microsoft Corp. (2.74%) as of September 30, 2025; it features a total expense ratio of 0.34%, a 30-day SEC yield of 1.66%, and primarily U.S.-focused geographic allocation (98.90%). Issued by Invesco Ltd., a Bermuda-domiciled independent investment management firm founded in 1935 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with operations in over 20 countries and approximately $2.15 trillion in assets under management as of November 2025. In a significant recent development effective March 21, 2025, the fund transitioned its underlying index from the FTSE RAFI US 1000 Index to the RAFI Fundamental Select US 1000 Index, accompanied by a name change from Invesco FTSE RAFI US 1000 ETF to its current designation, enhancing its fundamental weighting methodology while maintaining its core large-cap U.S. equity focus. Invesco Ltd., the fund's sponsor, has pursued strategic expansions including a July 2025 joint investment program with Bozzuto targeting up to $1 billion in East Coast multifamily assets and a December 2025 partnership with LGT Capital Partners to offer private equity and credit portfolios to U.S. retail and retirement investors.
