- Parnassus Income Funds – Parnassus Value Select ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund sponsored and advised by Parnassus Investments, LLC, a San Francisco, California-based, research-driven investment manager founded in 1984 and an affiliate of Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. The ETF seeks capital appreciation through a concentrated, high-conviction portfolio generally comprising approximately 25 undervalued U.S. large-capitalization equity securities that Parnassus Investments believes have favorable long-term return potential but are temporarily out of favor relative to their historical valuations or peers. The fund employs fundamental value investing and responsible-investment analysis, emphasizing companies with strong or improving financial characteristics, durable competitive positions, capable management teams, and sustainable business practices; it may invest across sectors, including communication services, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, energy, financials, health care, industrials, information technology, materials, real estate and utilities. PRVS primarily serves individual and institutional investors seeking actively managed U.S. large-cap value equity exposure through an exchange-traded vehicle listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Parnassus Value Select ETF commenced operations on December 11, 2024, and began trading under the ticker PRVS on December 12, 2024, representing a strategic expansion by Parnassus Investments into actively managed ETFs alongside the launch of the Parnassus Core Select ETF. The fund is managed by Billy Hwan and Krishna Chintalapalli and operates as part of the Parnassus fund family, which also offers U.S. equity, international equity and fixed-income mutual fund and ETF investment strategies.
