Business
Invesco S&P SmallCap Consumer Staples ETF (PSCC) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance, before fees and expenses, of the S&P SmallCap 600 Capped Consumer Staples Index. The fund normally invests at least 90% of its total assets in securities comprising the index, which measures the overall performance of common stocks issued by small-capitalization U.S. consumer staples companies principally engaged in providing non-cyclical consumer goods and services, including food products, beverages, household products, personal care products, tobacco, textiles, and nondiscretionary retail. It provides diversified exposure across industry allocations such as food products (38.40%), consumer staples distribution and retail (27.52%), household products (19.12%), personal care products (7.65%), tobacco (3.87%), and beverages (3.44%), with top holdings including Cal-Maine Foods Inc. (11.83%), Freshpet Inc. (7.21%), WD-40 Company (7.11%), The Simply Good Foods Company (6.55%), and PriceSmart Inc. (6.50%). Launched on April 7, 2010, and managed under Invesco Exchange-Traded Fund Trust II, the fund is domiciled in the United States with headquarters aligned to Invesco Ltd. in Atlanta, Georgia; it rebalances and reconstitutes quarterly and targets institutional and retail investors seeking small-cap consumer staples exposure primarily in the U.S. market. In July 2023, the fund implemented a 3-for-1 forward share split effective at market close on July 14 to enhance liquidity and accessibility, marking its most notable recent structural change amid a stable operational strategy with no reported acquisitions, partnerships, funding rounds, or new product launches in the last two years. As of late 2025, total net assets stand at approximately $37-41 million, with an expense ratio of 29 basis points and around 25-28 holdings focused exclusively on U.S. equity markets in the consumer defensive category.
