Business
Manila Broadcasting Company, doing business as MBC Media Group, is a Philippines-based multimedia broadcasting and entertainment enterprise primarily engaged in radio and television broadcasting, digital media production, live event management, and advertising services. The company operates a nationwide broadcasting infrastructure comprising flagship AM and FM radio networks, provincial relay stations, and community radio networks. Its core portfolio includes news and public affairs broadcasting through DZRH, the country's oldest operational radio station; commercial FM entertainment networks, including Love Radio, Yes The Best, and Easy Rock; provincial news and commentary networks under the Aksyon Radyo brand; and a nationwide network of community radio stations operating under the Radyo Natin brand. In addition to terrestrial radio, the company provides news and informational television programming through DZRH News Television and digital terrestrial television subchannels; multiplatform advertising and commercial airtime production; digital audio and video streaming across proprietary mobile applications and web platforms; and experiential marketing, concert organization, cultural festivals, and sports event management through its events division. Headquartered in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines, the company traces its roots to 1939 with the founding of station KZRH, was incorporated in 1947, and operates as an affiliate of the Elizalde Group of Companies. In February 2024, the company officially rebranded to MBC Media Group, marking a strategic transition from a conventional broadcaster into an integrated multimedia network structured around six core pillars: radio, television, digital media, live events, talent management, and out-of-home brand activations. As part of this ongoing business transformation, the company has expanded its digital content production capabilities, upgraded its transmission infrastructure, and broadened multiplatform distribution partnerships to capture wider digital, youth, and international audiences.
