Business
AllianzIM Growth-100 Buffer15 ETF is an actively managed, non-diversified defined-outcome exchange-traded fund sponsored and advised by Allianz Investment Management LLC (AllianzIM), a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based registered investment adviser and wholly owned subsidiary of Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, part of Allianz Group. Launched on March 31, 2026, the fund seeks to provide, over successive three-month outcome periods, share-price return exposure to the Invesco QQQ Trust, Series 1 (QQQ), which tracks the Nasdaq-100 Index, up to a predetermined cap, while buffering the first 15% of QQQ losses before fees and expenses. The fund implements its strategy primarily through exchange-traded FLEX options on QQQ, using customized option contracts to establish capped upside participation and downside-buffer characteristics. QBQF targets investors seeking tactical exposure to large-cap, growth-oriented Nasdaq-100 companies, including technology, communications, consumer, retail and biotechnology businesses, with quarterly resets that establish a new cap and 15% downside buffer for each outcome period. The fund’s principal products and services consist of quarterly defined-outcome investment exposure; capped participation in QQQ price appreciation; protection against the first 15% of underlying QQQ declines during a full outcome period; actively managed FLEX-options portfolios; and exchange-traded fund shares available through investment professionals and online brokerage platforms in the United States. As a recent strategic product expansion, AllianzIM introduced QBQF in March 2026 as part of its Growth-100 Buffer15 ETF offering, extending its suite of risk-managed defined-outcome ETFs with a Nasdaq-100-oriented strategy featuring quarterly cap and buffer resets. The fund is distributed by Foreside Fund Services, LLC.
