Raj Rayon Industries Limited Raj Rayon Industries Limited (RAJRILTD.NS) manufactures polyester yarns, including polyester texturised yarn (PTY), partially oriented yarn (POY), fully drawn yarn (FDY), and dope dyed yarns; it offers specialty variants such as trilobal, octalobal, full dull, semi dull, bright, cationic, colored, fire retardant, anti-microbial, micro filaments, non-intermingle, low/slight intermingle, and high intermingle yarns. The company operates four manufacturing plants in Silvassa, Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, India, and exports to markets including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Guatemala, Iran, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Poland, Spain, Syria, Thailand, and Vietnam. Incorporated in 1993 and headquartered in Silvassa, India, it serves the textile industry with products targeting woven and knitted fabric manufacturers. Acquired by SVG Group in 2021 following insolvency proceedings, Raj Rayon Industries Limited revived operations in 2023 with initial commercial production of POY and PET chips via continuous polymerisation at its Silvassa plant, starting at 300 TPD polymerisation, 125 TPD POY, and 60 TPD DTY capacities. In FY2024, it completed its first expansion to make the plant fully operational; in FY2025, it executed a second expansion to 400 TPD polymerisation, 350 TPD POY, and 150 TPD DTY, with plans for INR 500-600 crore capex over 2-3 years to further increase POY capacity to 600 TPD and DTY to 400 TPD, alongside niche product additions in yarns and knitted fabrics aiming for INR 2,900 crore topline by FY2027.
