First Trust Exchange-Traded Fund II - First Trust Bloomberg Nuclear Power ETF is an exchange-traded fund that seeks investment results corresponding generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Bloomberg Nuclear Power Index. The Fund provides equity-market exposure to companies participating in the global nuclear-power ecosystem, including operators and developers of nuclear generating capacity; uranium mining, processing and fuel-cycle companies; nuclear-reactor, component and equipment manufacturers; engineering, procurement and construction providers; power-grid, electrical-equipment and related technology suppliers; and nuclear-services businesses. Its portfolio includes companies operating across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, with holdings such as Constellation Energy, Doosan Enerbility, Hitachi, BHP Group, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Cameco, Vistra, Rolls-Royce Holdings, Entergy, Duke Energy and GE Vernova. The Fund is a passively managed, non-diversified series of First Trust Exchange-Traded Fund II and is advised by First Trust Advisors L.P.; it was launched on July 29, 2025 and is headquartered through its adviser in Wheaton, Illinois, United States. The Fund’s shares trade under the ticker RCTR and are designed for investors seeking thematic exposure to the construction, expansion and long-term operation of nuclear-energy infrastructure. Recent developments include the January 2026 launch of a Canadian-listed First Trust Bloomberg Nuclear Power ETF by FT Portfolios Canada Co., which obtains its exposure through securities of the U.S.-listed affiliate-managed RCTR fund, expanding First Trust’s distribution of the nuclear-power strategy to Canadian investors.
