Business
Redrow plc operates as a premium housebuilder and subsidiary of Barratt Redrow plc following its acquisition in August 2024, which received CMA clearance in October 2024 and created a combined entity targeting 22,000 annual home completions through complementary brands and cost synergies exceeding £100 million. The company develops and sells high-specification new homes and communities across the United Kingdom, including its award-winning Heritage Collection blending Arts and Crafts-inspired exteriors with modern open-plan interiors; energy-efficient Eco Electric and Eco Now homes featuring Fabric First construction, air source heat pumps, and innovative heating controls; Lifestyle homes; urban luxury apartments; and large-scale developments such as garden villages like Woodford Garden Village and Ebbsfleet Green. Redrow offers homes under the Redrow brand within Barratt Redrow's portfolio alongside Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes, and Barratt London, with additional group activities encompassing commercial developments via Wilson Bowden Developments, timber frame manufacturing through Oregon Timber Frame, and furniture under BD Living; it serves first-time buyers, families, and other customers nationwide from its historical base in St David's Park, Ewloe, Flintshire, Wales, where it was founded in 1974 by Steve Morgan. Recent strategic developments include the transformative merger with Barratt Developments plc, enabling accelerated delivery, revenue synergies, and £20 million in FY25 cost savings from procurement, office restructuring, and central functions; a June 2025 portfolio deal with Lloyds Living for 598 rental homes across 11 UK sites as part of an ongoing partnership that now exceeds 2,200 homes; progression toward FY25 guidance of 16,800-17,200 completions and £500-600 million net cash; and integration nearing completion to support medium-term growth to 22,000 homes annually.
