Barratt Redrow plc Barratt Redrow plc operates as one of the United Kingdom's largest residential property developers, focusing on housebuilding across England, Wales and Scotland through its four core consumer brands: Barratt Homes offering value homes for first-time buyers and families; David Wilson Homes providing quality homes for move-up buyers and families; Barratt London specializing in urban developments; and Redrow delivering premium homes for discerning purchasers and downsizers; it also engages in commercial property development via Wilson Bowden Developments and timber frame manufacturing through Oregon Timber Frame with facilities in Selkirk and Derby. Founded in 1958 and headquartered in Coalville, Leicestershire, the FTSE 100-listed company targets a broad customer base including first-time buyers, families and premium buyers, with integrated operations supporting annual delivery of approximately 22,000 homes. In October 2024, Barratt Redrow plc completed its £2.5 billion all-stock acquisition of Redrow plc following Competition and Markets Authority approval, rebranding from Barratt Developments PLC and initiating integration efforts including closure of nine divisional offices, supply chain consolidation and migration of Redrow operations onto Barratt systems targeted for fiscal 2026 completion; the merger has realized £69 million in confirmed cost synergies toward a £100 million annual target by fiscal 2026, alongside revenue synergies from 16 planning applications for incremental sales outlets with five approvals secured by mid-2025 and ambitions for 45 openings by fiscal 2028 end, while in June 2025 it sold a portfolio of single-family Build-to-Rent homes to Lloyds Living and in October 2025 resolved a CMA competition probe via a £100 million commitment to affordable housing without admitting liability.
