Business
Rapac Communication & Infrastructure Ltd (RPAC.TA) is an Israel-based holding company active in infrastructure, communication, defense, trade commerce, electrical projects, government contracts, and electricity production. Founded in 1964 and headquartered in Netanya, Israel, the company supplies equipment for power generation, automation, and lightning protection; markets communication systems and broadcast applications; imports bearings via its subsidiary Delta Elkon for automotive, agriculture, high-technology, aviation, and military sectors; provides value-added reselling for Alcatel Lucent through subsidiary TBC; offers satellite-based teleport services including uplink/downlink communications, full play-out, and mobile television via legacy involvement with RRSAT; and delivers consultancy in aircraft and missile systems through its systems division and subsidiary Del-Ta Systems. Rapac primarily serves domestic Israeli markets across government, energy, infrastructure, and defense industries, with approximately 598 employees and trailing twelve-month revenue of ILS 776.09 million. In recent developments, SES Platform Services GmbH completed the acquisition of RR Media Ltd., previously affiliated with Rapac's RRSAT operations, from related entities including Rapac-linked partnerships. Generation Capital Ltd entered into a sales agreement to acquire the remaining 50% stake in Rapac Energy Ltd. from Rapac Communication & Infrastructure Ltd, signaling a strategic divestiture in its energy segment. Rapac maintains involvement in solar electricity projects, such as a 3MW facility financed by Bank Hapoalim, and reported strong profits in its latest financials amid stagnant share performance as of late 2025. The Boganem family transaction elevated Rapac as a key shareholder in HR solutions provider Synel, positioning it second to Clal Insurance.
