Business
R R Kabel Limited manufactures and sells wires, cables, and fast-moving electrical goods in India and internationally. The company offers house wires including heat resistant, flame retardant, and low-smoke zero halogen varieties; industrial wires and cables such as panel wires, multi-core flexible cables, control cables, and submersible flat cables; power cables encompassing low-voltage, medium-voltage, and high-voltage types; specialty cables like data and communication, instrumentation, solar, fire and security, silicon rubber, auto, battery, lift and elevator, appliance wiring material, and power cords; as well as fans, lighting, switches, and appliances. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, it operates five manufacturing facilities across India including sites in Silvassa, Waghodia, Roorkee, Bengaluru, and Gagret, serving residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors with exports contributing around 25% of revenue. In May 2025, its board approved a Rs 1,450 crore investment to expand wire and cable capacity by 42,000 metric tonnes at Waghodia and Silvassa plants through March 2028, targeting an 18% CAGR in the segment amid growth in real estate, renewables, electric vehicles, and data centers; it previously acquired Luminous Power's home electrical business from Schneider Electric in 2022 to bolster its FMEG portfolio.
