Brava Energia S.A., formerly 3R Petroleum Óleo e Gás S.A., engages in the exploration, production, and commercialization of oil and natural gas, including derivatives, across onshore and offshore fields in Brazil, including pre-salt assets. The company operates as a holding entity with subsidiaries focused on the upstream segment, encompassing exploration, production, and sales of oil and gas; and the midstream and downstream segment, involving the flow, treatment, processing, and marketing of oil and gas products, with key assets including the Macau, Salina Cristal, Lagoa Aroeira, Porto Carão, Sanhaçu, and Carcará fields in the Potiguar Basin; Água Grande, Bonsucesso, Fazenda Alto das Pedras, Pedrinhas, Pojuca, Rio Pojuca, Tapiranga, and Tapiranga Norte fields in the Recôncavo Basin; Polo Papa-Terra in the Campos Basin; BAR-M-387 in the Barreirinhas Basin; and the Peroá Cluster in the Espírito Santo Basin. It serves domestic markets through integrated operations in the Potiguar, Recôncavo, Campos, Barreirinhas, and Espírito Santo basins, primarily targeting revitalization of mature fields with onshore production complemented by offshore scale. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the company completed a transformative merger with Enauta Participações S.A. in July 2024, issuing 213.6 million shares to Enauta shareholders for an integrated entity with diversified onshore and offshore portfolios and enhanced reserve base; rolled up Maha Energy's 15% stake in 3R Petroleum Offshore into the parent in 2024; changed its name to Brava Energia S.A. in September 2024; and entered a $65 million purchase and sale agreement with Petroreconcavo for shared gas processing assets via subsidiary 3R Potiguar.
