Recent developments include securing major contracts such as a Rs 284 crore project from East Coast Railway in November 2024 for new lines between Jarapada-Talcher Road and Angul-Balram, a Rs 90.65 crore video surveillance system upgrade for nearly 500 Southern Railway stations in 2025, Rs 390 crore from NTPC, Rs 167 crore from South Eastern Railway, and emerging as the lowest bidder for North Eastern Railway projects; RVNL maintains a robust order book exceeding INR 90,000 crore and upholds an asset-light model with ongoing manufacturing initiatives like the Rail Coach Naveenikaran Karkhana in Sonipat and Marathwada Rail Coach Factory in Latur for Vande Bharat trains.
