In a transformative development, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Hyderabad sanctions in November 2025 the composite scheme of amalgamation merging Viyash Life Sciences Pvt Ltd and its group entities with Sequent Research Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary, creating a combined entity valued at approximately Rs 8,000 crore with 16 manufacturing facilities (nine USFDA-approved), expanded R&D capabilities led by over 200 scientists, enhanced supply chain synergies, and leadership under incoming CEO Hari Babu Bodepudi; the board approves a name change to Viyash Scientific, amendments to the Memorandum and Articles of Association, and commercialization of a new US API partnership following successful USFDA audits.
