Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Surgut, Russia, it also participates in geological surveying, construction, and maintenance of industrial infrastructure. In recent years, Surgutneftegas has maintained stable oil production levels aligned with OPEC+ agreements and fully replenished its hydrocarbon reserves, receiving new licenses for exploration, appraisal, and extraction in Western Siberia in 2024.
