Pirate Gold Corp (TSXV:SIC), formerly Sokoman Minerals Corp, engages in the discovery, acquisition and exploration of mineral properties focused on gold and lithium in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The company holds a dominant land position in Canada's emerging gold mining districts, with its flagship 100%-owned Moosehead gold project in north-central Newfoundland featuring high-grade orogenic lode gold mineralization including boulders exceeding 400 g/t Au; the district-scale Fleur de Lys gold project in northwestern Newfoundland targeting Dalradian-style orogenic gold deposits near recent production centers; the Crippleback Lake gold project covering 530 claims along the Valentine Lake fault zone; joint ventures with Benton Resources Inc on the Grey River, Golden Hope and Kepenkeck gold projects; the Killick lithium project encompassing the underexplored Kraken Pegmatite Field with 3,146 claims over 78,650 hectares; the Iron Horse iron ore project with uranium potential in the Labrador Trough; and optioned properties including East Alder gold to Canterra Minerals Inc and Startrek antimony-gold-tungsten to Thunder Gold Corp, retaining shares and 1% NSRs where applicable. Pirate Gold Corp maintains extensive operations across Newfoundland including the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt, Baie Verte area, south coast and Hermitage Flexure trends, and Labrador; it was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. In the last two years, the company completed a $26 million bought deal private placement in October 2025 fully exercised with over-allotment; announced a $24 million bought deal led by Eric Sprott in October 2025; tripled claim holdings along 65 km of the Valentine Lake Fault to build the district-scale Treasure Island project in October 2025; provided updates on Stony Lake, Keats, and Crippleback Lake properties in 2025; changed its name to Pirate Gold Corp in November 2025; and advanced the Killick lithium earn-in partnership with Piedmont Lithium Inc granting up to 62.5% interest for $12 million exploration and $10 million shares while retaining 2% NSR.
